We are looking for an experienced and organized BIM Supervisor to oversee BIM modeling and coordination processes across multiple construction or design projects. The BIM Supervisor plays a vital leadership role in managing BIM teams, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving collaboration between disciplines. This role bridges technical BIM execution with team supervision, helping ensure timely and quality digital deliverables.
Supervise day-to-day activities of the BIM team, ensuring models are delivered on time and to required standards.
Review and validate BIM models for design accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
Coordinate and lead clash detection and resolution meetings using tools like Navisworks or Solibri.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure interdisciplinary model integration and coordination.
Ensure adherence to company and project-specific BIM standards, workflows, and naming conventions.
Provide training, guidance, and technical support to junior BIM staff and modelers.
Manage model version control and ensure documentation and data are up to date in the Common Data Environment (CDE).
Generate coordinated drawings, reports, schedules, and quantity take-offs from models as needed.
Liaise with the BIM Manager and Project Manager to communicate model status, risks, and requirements.
Contribute to the development and refinement of BIM templates, families, and process improvements.
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or related field.
4+ years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination roles, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and familiarity with BIM 360 or ACC.
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination (Architectural, Structural, MEP).
Solid knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, LOD specifications, BS/PAS 1192).
Excellent organizational, communication, and team leadership skills.
Ability to interpret complex construction drawings and technical specifications.
BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, buildingSMART).
Familiarity with scripting or visual programming (e.g., Dynamo, Grasshopper) is a plus.
Experience in 4D/5D BIM workflows or integration with construction schedules and costing tools.
Prior experience supervising BIM implementation on large-scale or high-rise projects.
