Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced BIM Engineer to support the planning, development, coordination, and delivery of BIM models across various stages of the design and construction process. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of digital construction models. This position is ideal for professionals who are confident with BIM tools and have experience handling real-world projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and manage detailed 3D BIM models using software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or other platforms.

  • Perform clash detection, model coordination, and resolve issues in collaboration with design and construction teams.

  • Generate accurate 2D drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.

  • Ensure that BIM deliverables meet client requirements, company standards, and project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).

  • Support interdisciplinary collaboration by integrating architectural, structural, and MEP models.

  • Maintain and update project documentation including model logs, reports, and BIM-related communications.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM team members.

  • Collaborate with contractors and consultants to ensure accurate construction workflows and sequencing using 4D BIM (optional).

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of BIM standards, templates, and content libraries.

  • Participate in coordination and design review meetings, both internally and with clients.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience working in a BIM-related role.

  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD; experience with BIM 360, Solibri, or similar platforms is an advantage.

  • Working knowledge of interdisciplinary BIM coordination (Architectural/Structural/MEP).

  • Understanding of construction sequencing, detailing, and BIM level of development (LOD).

  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with industry BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, LOD frameworks, COBie).

  • Experience with Dynamo, Rhino + Grasshopper, or other computational design tools is a plus.

  • Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM, cost estimation tools, or facility management workflows is advantageous.

  • BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, RICS BIM Certification) is desirable.
