We are seeking a technically skilled and reliable Mid-Level BAS (Building Automation System) Technician to support the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC systems via BAS platforms. The technician will play a critical role in maintaining environmental conditions across cleanrooms, labs, or process zones by ensuring precise control of temperature, humidity, and pressure. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in HVAC automation and building control systems.
Monitor environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, pressure, and airflow via BAS.
Manage setpoints and control logic to maintain stability in regulated environments.
Respond to and investigate system alarms or deviations.
Perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting on HVAC control loops and field devices.
Resolve issues with sensors, actuators, dampers, and communication signals between BAS and HVAC equipment.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address persistent faults or performance degradation.
Execute preventive maintenance tasks for BAS equipment and control devices.
Assist in calibration of sensors (temperature, pressure, humidity) and verify signal integrity.
Ensure proper functioning of dampers, valves, actuators, and interface modules.
Support maintenance of classified zones such as cleanrooms and process areas according to GMP or ISO 14644 standards.
Verify system performance for pressure cascades, air changes per hour (ACH), and climate conditions.
Assist in HVAC system qualification and environmental validation activities.
Maintain logs of alarm events, parameter changes, and maintenance activities using CMMS or BAS reporting tools.
Document field device mappings, system drawings, and loop diagrams.
Support compliance documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Coordinate with HVAC technicians, QA, and production personnel to meet operational requirements.
Support integration or upgrade of HVAC equipment into the BAS network.
