The Senior Automation and Control Supervisor leads the supervision and management of automation and control systems on the assembly line. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal system performance, leading a team of technicians and junior supervisors, driving continuous improvement, and supporting complex troubleshooting to maximize production uptime and quality.
Lead, mentor, and manage the automation and control team supporting the assembly line operations.
Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLCs, SCADA, sensors, robotics, and control equipment.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex automation failures.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams on system upgrades, process improvements, and automation projects.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
Train and develop team members on advanced automation technologies and best practices.
Lead initiatives to adopt new automation solutions, robotics, and digital tools to improve assembly line efficiency.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external support when required.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
6-10 years of experience in automation and control in manufacturing environments, including supervisory experience.
Strong expertise in PLCs, SCADA, robotics, sensors, and industrial automation systems.
Proven leadership skills managing technical teams.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
