The Junior Automation Line Supervisor – Electrical Test Stations is responsible for assisting in supervising daily operations of electrical test stations on automated or semi-automated production lines. The role focuses on supporting test activities, coordinating technicians, and maintaining test equipment performance and documentation under the guidance of senior supervisors.
Assist in overseeing electrical testing stations such as continuity, insulation resistance, and functional test setups.
Monitor basic test routines and ensure adherence to work instructions.
Support shift activities for a small team of technicians or operators.
Communicate daily priorities and escalate delays or issues to the senior supervisor.
Ensure proper handling and setup of electrical test equipment (multimeters, test jigs, ICT fixtures).
Report equipment malfunctions and assist in coordinating minor repairs or calibration needs.
Ensure test procedures follow documented SOPs and safety standards.
Verify that operators are using PPE and following ESD protocols.
Record test outcomes, downtime logs, and yield metrics in MES or manual logs.
Submit end-of-shift reports to the supervising engineer or manager.
Participate in on-the-job training for automated test systems and lean manufacturing processes.
Build technical understanding of test software, sensors, and automation interfaces.
Education:
ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience:
0–2 years in an electrical testing or assembly line environment.
Exposure to automated systems or electrical test equipment preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Basic understanding of electrical circuits and testing procedures.
Ability to read simple electrical diagrams.
Team player with strong communication and problem-solving aptitude.
