We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Asset Integrity Engineer to support the monitoring, assessment, and maintenance of valves and pipelines within water treatment and distribution systems. This entry-level role involves assisting in integrity inspections, data collection, and analysis to help ensure the safety, reliability, and longevity of critical infrastructure assets.
Asset Integrity Support
Assist in conducting inspections and condition assessments of valves, pipelines, and associated mechanical components.
Support the collection and analysis of data related to corrosion, wear, pressure testing, and operational performance.
Help maintain and update asset integrity databases and maintenance records.
Inspection & Monitoring Assistance
Participate in non-destructive testing (NDT) activities such as ultrasonic testing, visual inspection, and leak detection under supervision.
Assist in preparing inspection reports and documenting findings for review by senior engineers.
Support the scheduling and coordination of inspection and maintenance activities.
Maintenance & Risk Management Support
Aid in evaluating asset condition and recommending maintenance or repair actions based on inspection results and data trends.
Support risk assessments and failure mode analysis activities to prioritize maintenance efforts.
Help track regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Learning & Development
Gain practical experience with asset integrity management systems, inspection technologies, and industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, AWWA).
Participate in training sessions and workshops related to pipeline and valve integrity management.
Collaborate with engineering teams and field personnel to understand asset performance and maintenance strategies.
Supporting integrity inspections and data analysis for valves and pipelines

Developing knowledge of industry standards and asset management practices
Learning and applying inspection techniques and reporting methods
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
Coursework or internships in asset integrity, corrosion engineering, or water treatment is a plus
Experience:
0–2 years of experience in asset integrity, maintenance engineering, or related technical roles (internships/co-ops welcome)
Basic knowledge of valves, pipelines, and inspection methods preferred
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn inspection techniques, data analysis, and integrity management systems
Proficiency with MS Office and database tools
