We are looking for a dependable and skilled Mid-Level Assembly Technician to join our team specializing in precision mechanical systems. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical assembly processes, attention to detail, and experience working with tight tolerances. This position plays a key role in supporting the production of high-quality, complex mechanical assemblies.
Assemble precision mechanical components and subassemblies using detailed drawings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Perform mechanical alignment, torqueing, and verification using precision tools.
Conduct basic functional testing and quality checks to ensure assembly accuracy.
Work collaboratively with engineering and quality teams to address non-conformities.
Maintain proper documentation of build records, part traceability, and test results.
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and 5S standards.
Support inventory control through part counting, labeling, and kitting.
Assist in prototype builds under supervision, providing feedback for improvements.
Precision Assembly Execution: Ability to follow detailed instructions and assemble components within defined tolerances.
Tool Usage: Proficient in using hand tools, torque drivers, calipers, and micrometers.
Drawing Interpretation: Competent in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and assembly documentation.
Quality Awareness: Strong focus on first-time-right builds and adherence to quality standards.
Process Compliance: Follows established processes and contributes to continuous improvement.
Team Collaboration: Works effectively in a team environment and communicates proactively with peers and supervisors.
Technical diploma or equivalent certification in mechanical, mechatronics, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly.
Familiarity with cleanroom or ESD-sensitive environments is an advantage.
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Basic understanding of GD&T is preferred.
Ability to work with minimal supervision once trained.
