The Apprentice Mechanic / Engineering Intern is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on experience in automotive mechanical systems and engineering support. Under supervision, the apprentice supports maintenance, repair, assembly, and testing activities while gaining practical knowledge of vehicle components, tools, and workshop procedures. This role is ideal for individuals starting their careers in automotive mechanical engineering and looking to build foundational skills through on-the-job training and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior mechanics and engineers with routine maintenance, repair, and assembly of automotive mechanical systems.
Support diagnostic and troubleshooting activities by preparing tools, gathering data, and observing repairs.
Learn and apply basic mechanical skills related to engines, transmissions, suspension, and HVAC components.
Participate in workshop safety procedures, tool management, and housekeeping.
Help set up and support mechanical testing and inspection of automotive components and systems.
Document work performed and maintain accurate logs of tasks, observations, and parts used.
Attend training sessions and workshops to develop technical knowledge and practical skills.
Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:

Familiarity with automotive components is advantageous
