The Senior Airflow & NVH Testing Supervisor provides strategic leadership and oversight for complex airflow and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) testing programs within automotive HVAC and thermal management systems. This role drives innovation in test methodologies, ensures the highest data integrity, and leads cross-functional collaboration to optimize product performance and customer satisfaction. The senior supervisor manages multiple test teams, directs resource planning, and influences engineering decisions through advanced data analysis and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of comprehensive airflow and NVH testing projects for HVAC modules, ducting systems, fans, and vehicle cabins.
Oversee calibration, maintenance, and upgrade of specialized test equipment, including anechoic chambers, flow tunnels, vibration rigs, and sensor arrays.
Drive development and continuous improvement of test methodologies, protocols, and data analysis techniques to enhance test accuracy and efficiency.
Analyze complex airflow and acoustic data, providing actionable insights to engineering, product development, and quality teams.
Identify systemic issues affecting NVH and airflow performance and lead cross-functional root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Mentor and develop supervisors, engineers, and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
Manage budget, staffing, and resource allocation to meet project timelines and organizational goals.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations across all testing activities.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience:
8+ years of experience in automotive HVAC, thermal management, or powertrain NVH testing
4+ years in a leadership or senior supervisory role managing test teams and complex projects
Technical Skills:
Expertise in airflow measurement, acoustic testing, vibration analysis, and data interpretation
Advanced knowledge of test instrumentation, data acquisition, and signal processing tools
Strong background in developing test strategies and validating product performance metrics
