Job Title: Airflow & NVH Testing Supervisor
The Airflow & NVH Testing Supervisor leads daily testing operations focused on airflow dynamics and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) characteristics of automotive HVAC and thermal management systems. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing complex test programs across lab and vehicle environments. The supervisor manages test teams, coordinates resources, and ensures data quality and repeatability while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with engineering and product development teams is critical to meet performance, quality, and regulatory goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise airflow and NVH test activities for HVAC modules, ducting, fans, and cabin components.
Manage setup, calibration, and operation of instrumentation such as flow meters, microphones, accelerometers, and pressure transducers.
Lead test execution across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to test plans, timelines, and quality standards.
Analyze airflow performance data, pressure losses, and NVH signatures using specialized software tools.
Identify and troubleshoot test anomalies and coordinate corrective actions with engineering and lab technicians.
Develop and maintain test protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to support audit and regulatory compliance.
Supervise and mentor junior technicians and test engineers, fostering skills development and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, validation, and quality assurance to support product development milestones.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Automotive Engineering, or related technical discipline required
Experience:
4–6 years of experience in automotive HVAC or thermal systems testing, including NVH and airflow measurement
Demonstrated leadership in supervising test teams or projects
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with airflow measurement devices, acoustic instrumentation, and vibration analysis tools
Experience with data acquisition systems, signal processing, and test software (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB, CANalyzer)
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test standards
