We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior AHU Technician to lead the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and cleanroom HVAC systems. The role is critical to ensuring compliance with cleanroom environmental requirements, including temperature, humidity, pressure control, and air cleanliness (ISO 14644, GMP, HACCP). The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge and leadership in cleanroom utility operations, ensuring uninterrupted support for critical production and quality environments.
Operate, monitor, and optimize AHU systems for cleanrooms and critical process zones.
Ensure AHUs meet specifications for airflow, air changes per hour (ACH), HEPA filtration, and temperature/humidity control.
Perform complex diagnostics and root cause analysis on system deviations or failures.
Lead preventive maintenance programs, including inspection, lubrication, filter replacements (Pre, Fine, HEPA), and coil cleaning.
Conduct predictive maintenance through vibration analysis, motor inspections, and monitoring system trends.
Recommend upgrades or replacements based on system performance data and equipment lifecycle.
Ensure HVAC systems support cleanroom classifications (ISO 7/8, Grade C/D or higher) by maintaining pressure differentials and air cleanliness.
Collaborate with QA, validation, and production teams to support environmental monitoring and regulatory audits.
Support and interpret data from particle count testing, airflow measurement, and DOP/PAO filter integrity tests.
Ensure maintenance records, change logs, and deviation reports are accurately maintained and compliant with GMP and audit standards.
Lead investigations on environmental excursions related to AHU systems and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Use CMMS for updating work orders, PM tasks, and tracking equipment history.
Supervise and guide junior and mid-level AHU technicians on daily tasks and safe work practices.
Train team members in cleanroom behavior, SOP compliance, and technical troubleshooting.
Ensure team adherence to hygiene protocols, gowning procedures, and equipment handling standards in controlled environments.
Ensure safety protocols (LOTO, electrical safety, confined space entry) are strictly followed.
Monitor system performance through Building Management Systems (BMS) and recommend energy-saving or performance-enhancing actions.
Respond to alarms or alerts related to environmental deviations or system malfunctions.
