We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President – Production Technology and Fabrication Systems to lead the strategy, innovation, and execution of advanced manufacturing technologies and fabrication systems. This executive role is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence, optimizing production capabilities, and integrating cutting-edge technologies to ensure scalability, efficiency, and competitiveness across the organization’s production facilities.
Define and execute long-term strategies for manufacturing technology, automation, and digital transformation.
Drive innovation in fabrication systems, precision manufacturing, and high-volume production processes.
Oversee the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, robotics, additive manufacturing, AI/ML in production).
Lead initiatives to modernize fabrication processes and improve cycle times, cost efficiency, and quality.
Champion lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement frameworks across all production sites.
Establish KPIs to measure productivity, downtime, scrap, and operational efficiency.
Direct large-scale capital investments in production equipment, automation systems, and fabrication lines.
Evaluate and procure advanced fabrication machinery, tooling systems, and digital infrastructure.
Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to align manufacturing with product goals.
Lead global or multi-site operations and ensure consistency in production technology standards and best practices.
Provide executive leadership in the development, deployment, and scaling of modern fabrication systems.
Oversee plant modernization, layout optimization, and technology integration projects.
Monitor emerging trends and implement competitive production capabilities (e.g., flexible manufacturing, smart factories).
Drive automation initiatives while ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and workforce adaptability.
Build and mentor a high-performing team of technical and operational leaders across engineering and production units.
Develop and manage budgets related to production technology investments and ROI initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
15+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 7–10 years in a senior leadership role.
Deep expertise in fabrication systems, automation, machining, assembly, or industrial systems.
Proven success leading technology transformation and large-scale production operations.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and digital factory ecosystems.
Executive experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, or advanced electronics.
Track record of implementing smart manufacturing systems or MES/ERP integration.
Experience managing multi-site global operations or greenfield/brownfield expansion projects.
Thought leadership in manufacturing innovation and industry consortiums.
